What tools will I need to complete the course?

Note: we understand for those who are not in North America, shipping can take a long time and be expensive. You can substitute any good medium density roller for the LO ROX Travel Roller and a good Pilates ball for the Body Sphere. You can also use 2 tennis balls in a sock as a substitute for the Infinity Roller.

Who is the Course designed for?

This course is ideal for those of you who may have had a baby and are suffering from pelvic floor issues, such as incontinence or pain during sex (both super common BTW!).  It’s also ideal for those of you who may be in peri-menopause or going through menopause - because having a strong and resilient pelvic floor can make menopause much easier.  But this Course will also help you deal with stress, increase energy and even reboot your metabolism - meaning this Course is also ideal for anyone who is just feeling lethargic, tight and beat down by the never- ending pressures of modern life!

When will the course be available to purchase?

The Course is available for purchase on February 5 and officially begins on February 26 with limited spaces available so that Lauren can offer better guidance to those doing the Course.

The 3 weeks between February 5 and February 26 is to allow you

How long will it take to start seeing improvements in pelvic floor health after starting the course?

You should notice a significant improvement in the health of your pelvic floor over the 12 days of the Course. Of course, reconnecting and rewiring the connections between your brain and body doesn’t happen overnight. So stick with it and by the second week you should be noticing change. Of course, the Course is also designed so that you can do it again on your own if you want to solidify the learnings.

What are the "power centers" of the body that are covered in the video workouts?

The 5 power centers of your body are physical ‘containers’ that can hold stress and emotions and where you can experience thickness and density in the fascia as a result. They are the Pelvic Floor, the Deep Core, the Upper Core, the Shoulders and Chest and the Head, Neck and Jaw. Ironically these line up to the chakras (or ‘energy points’) that you may have heard of iin Eastern medicine as follows:

the Pelvic Floor = Root Chakra,

the Deep Core = Sacral Chakra,

the Upper Core = Solar Plexus Chakra,

the Shoulders/Chest = Heart Chakra, and

the Head Neck Jaw/Throat/ = Throat, Third Eye and Crown Chakras)

Because the Pelvic Floor is effectively your stress ‘on/off’ button, you need to start with this Power Center. Once you have released this it allows energy to flow up the body through the other Power Centers or chakras.

What level of physical fitness is required to participate in this course? Is it suitable for beginners?

Yes – as long as you can sit down and get up from the floor comfortably and do some basic yoga moves, you will be able to do this Course.

Can I do my normal exercise routine while I am doing the course?

Yes, but because we are trying to allow the body (and mind) to have the space to let go of the ‘clutch’ and reconnect to the Power Centers, it can be best to just focus on the workouts in the Course – especially if you are busy and time is short. But if you need to get that cardio in as well, then go for it!

Will the live webinars be recorded for those who can't attend?

Yes. The webinars and AMA's with Lauren will be recorded and made available shortly after. 

What does "lifetime access" mean? Can I revisit the course material whenever I want?

Yes, you will get access to all of the videos forever – and we recommend that you repeat the workouts or even the whole Course as many times as you like, especially if you are experiencing Pelvic Floor issues or you are just feeling drained and stresed out.

I’m a member of the Aligned Life Studio. Do I automatically get access to the course as part of my membership?

The Course is the first in our ALS+ offering. This is where we’ll release more educational programs that go deeper into specific topics that might not be relevant to all members of the Studio. We’ll run these programs using a ‘cohorts’ model where we all do the program together, with me providing a higher level of support.  We also want to make these programs as accessible as possible so we’ll open these programs to people who might not be members of the Aligned Life Studio, so any ALS+ programs can be purchased as one-off programs with no need to sign up for an on-going subscription to the Studio.  Because these programs are so specific and include more resources, there will be an additional cost for Studio members - but members will get a 50% discount on the purchase price.

Do I need to read ‘The Power Source’ book to get the benefits of the Course?
